What Our Clients Say
– Mark W. , Ladera Ranch, CA
After experiencing the cost, damage and annoyance associated with in-house copper pipe leaks, I started research to discover an effective, long-term solution. My goal was to prevent future pipe leaks and improve the overall quality of our household water. This research led me to Pure Elements Water. After meeting with Rick Allen, CEO of Pure Elements Water, I was convinced that the Pure Elements Water filtration system was by far the most effective, long-term solution to my problems. Our Pure Elements Water team is professional, courteous and responsive. Since installing the system, we have not experienced any further issues with our pipes and our water quality is fantastic. The system works and is providing us everything that was promised. The Pure Elements Water system is a requirement on all future homes I own.

While I was researching possible remedies, I came across your whole house water filter system that removes the chloramines from the water. I didn’t find any other companies that focused on this type of filtering… Read More

We oversaw independent lab tests on our water. The chloramine and disinfection byproducts results were perfectly clear (none detected in our samples). This has validated the performance of our new system – it’s working even better than expected… Read more.

I have had my Pure Elements Water’s whole house water system in our Mission Viejo home for over 12 years, and have never experienced a pinhole leak in my copper plumbing. I have watched my neighbors and heard horror stories over the years about water damage and leaking copper pipes, but our water system has been the difference between our secure situation and their ongoing problems. Rick Allen informed me that the system installed 12 years ago was not designed to prevent pinholes, and in 2012 we upgraded to the version that deals with the contaminants and conditions causing these leaks. We made the best decision 12 years ago by trusting Pure Elements Water to help us achieve quality water throughout our home, and we are grateful to never have a single leaky pipe in our home. And we love the water, by the way!

Good morning Rick – Just to let you know: Nick did a great job installing the water filter, especially in that corner of the garage you suggested. He re-did the pipes beautifully. So far, so good. We are noticing a huge difference in our water purity and quality and loving it! It’s enhancing our lives enormously. Thank-you very much.
So by going to chloramines the benefit of it is you reduce the development of all of these disinfection byproducts that are cancerous. But it creates a bunch of other issues like stripping lead from pipes.
Chloramines are being implicated in an epidemic of pinhole leaks in copper plumbing all over Southern California.
There’s a topic I don’t know that we’ll get into it here, but it’s definitely prominent Beverly Hills. It’s prominent up and down the coast in Orange County. And it’s known as a pinhole leak problem.
Question: Rick I’ve got pinhole leaks and I had a guy come by just the other day who said he could blow epoxy lining into my pipes and seal all those pinholes. What can you tell me about that process? Rick: Well, of all the choices that you have, the epoxy lining is the least […]
Independent Lab Testing Validates Pinhole Prevention Water Filter Systems
PEX is smelly because it sometimes leaches MTBEs into the water. This is not healthy for you.
What we really like about the video is when they talk about how damaging hard water can be. They do not mention that hard water is also a BIG contributor to pinhole leaks in copper pipes. Hard water and chloramines create the leaks so you must remove both.
The problems that are happening in Southern California, as well as across the country, are caused by water chemistry and we have a high load of chloramines and chemicals in the water that have crossed the tipping point and given the right conditions, are eating through copper and creating corrosive problems internally.
